14 Days of Valentines | Day 11: Flowers

I would not do justice to a Valentine's series without Day 11: Flowers! Natural, fragrant, and beautiful...they are a classic Valentine's Gift for a reason. 14 Days of Valentines will hopefully give you some ideas for flowers that may veer a little from the traditional dozen roses and put a little surprise in your gift.

Every girl loves flowers, but maybe if her thumb isn't quite as green as others, she might enjoy some unique floral jewelry. Or if she's a little techy at heart, but still likes to be a girl, a pretty Kate Spade iPhone case would be cute. If a bouquet of flowers is what you have in mind though...I recommend Ovando NY hands down. Artistic and memorable, I've never seen bouquets the way they do...and these will surely leave an impression on your Valentine's Day.

This is by far one of my favorite days of the 14 Days of Valentines! Nothing quite feels more like lingerie than a corset ensemble and for Day 10: Corsets we are jam packed with some beautiful pieces of structured luxury.

I always loved the period films set in the Victorian times that had women inside with their dressing maids tightening up the laces on the corset. There is something so womanly about the curve that is defined from a corset. Of course the old practical ones broke ribs, but these are for sheer adornment! I'm afraid Agent Provocateur takes the cake on Day 10: Corsets. I mean they are not my favorite couture lingerie line for no reason right?!

Happy Fashion Week my dears! The tents of Lincoln Center fill with fabulous people starting today and I cannot wait to report back to you all the excitement from the runways. In the meantime I hope you are enjoying your 14 Days of Valentines! And what girl doesn't want luxurious fragrance to add a touch of sensuality to her daily routine? Day 9 is all about taking time to smell the roses...or gardenias, or sandalwoods...whatever tickles your fragrance fancy.

Beyond the normal perfumes of perfection I am loving this Bond No.9 solid perfume. It is a NYC Wall Street Perfume Token...WHAT! This is how you one-up a compact. I am so adding this to my must-have-inside-my-purse list. You never know when a cute man may stumble into your happy hour drinks with your coworkers and you suddenly need to turn on the charm.

This was one of my favorite 14 Days of Valentines to research and curate. You cannot do a proper Valentine's Day series without Day 8: Jewelry. The gift you get to cherish day in and day out from that special someone.

Quite an array of Valentine's Day themed jewelry we have here. From X's and O's to love knots and cupid's arrows...my favorite? I was instantly obsessed with this Sarah Chloe Heartbeat Bangle which she also makes in a ring or necklace version. And that Emily Elizabeth necklace puts a new spin on the arrow in the heart cliche that I quite enjoy. I am always on the search for the unique and I hop you darlings find something here you like!
