Dating is difficult. But I think it is for a reason, it it were easy we would stay with our first boyfriend forever and I am quite sure most of us are glad that didn't happen! Dating is difficult because love is special and hard to find, we all have something we are searching for that is our 'ideal' so dating is really a long interview process of many candidates to see who can fill the position of spouse in your life. I know right now is generally a time to have a positive look on love, but not everyone is in a place of Love Zen. So allow me to offer those of you a bit of silver to line those clouds.

It certainly sucks when something doesn't work out that we had placed all our hopes in, but in my experience when one door closes it is because I am due for an upgrade. Think back on your ex boyfriends that at one time you thought were your future but are now your past: can you now see why they weren't meant for you? I know I can. Dating is hard because you are trying, against all odds, to find one person in several million that you can love, and at times try to put up with, for the rest of your life. You don't want any Joe Schmoe, you want someone that has been through the trenches for you and passed with flying colors! Someone who wants you just as much as you want them, someone that will treat you like royalty, and most importantly someone who deserves you.
So, in honor of this Valentine's Day, pick your head up and start looking to the future rather than dwelling in your past, no amount of worrying or lamenting can change it. What you can control is your outlook on life today. Fix your broken wings now, so that when the right person comes along you are ready to fly, baggage free.
Also, win a little love of your own! Today is the last day to win the Je T'aime Ring Dish so get on it HERE!

Very well stated and I agree - you want someone who will be there for you as much as you will be there for them!

"and most importantly, someone who deserves you"
Thanks for your lovely blog~ Chrissy♥
Very uplifting and invigorating post. Everyone deserves to have that someone special in their life. Before I met my husband I don't think I really knew what love was.
What a beautiful post . . . I'm so glad that I found my someone special to share my life with and wish everyone else the same. :0)
