I happened to venture over to
Fifth Avenue one more time before the
Christmas Windows went down for good, and I just wanted to put one little sparkle of
Christmas magic in your cold bitter Winter that is officially in full force. Vintage carousel was the theme of the window's of the 2011
Tiffany & Co Christmas windows. May you be whisked away in delight.
Having Breakfast at Tiffany's is so much harder when you live on the opposite side of Manhattan, but at least I do get to visit..even if it's for an afternoon coffee. After battling the tourists that are somehow still here in January (??) I think I got you guys a pretty clean shot, so you can feel like you are here with me.
The interior of the cases have the Tiffany & Co jewelry resting on the backs of little vintage carousel horses. Very cute, but unfortunately, only armed with my phone, the best picture taken was still just a reflection of Fifth Avenue behind me.
The gilded neo baroque mirrors framing the entrance, welcome you in to the ongoing dream that is Holly Golightly's Tiffany & Co. And the grand Christmas trees guarding all the jewelry cases are just superb.
