Travel Confession #6

I love discovering a city in snow, it completely transforms it. Falling snow makes you dream, and feel free. It makes you want to twirl and catch snowflakes on your tongue. Fresh snow has a magical power to take this dirty world that we call home and make it clean and beautiful, even if for a short time. It is, in my opinion, the only reason it should ever be cold, and I love how something so little can have such a huge effect on so many things.

Enjoy a preview of Poland, my latest trip, where it snowed every day. More to come soon!

I love snow when your wrapped up all warm inside in front of a roaring fire. There's definitely something magical about watching snow fall and seeing it wrap everything outside in a beautiful white coat. :0)

Sledding! Just wait -- if ever we get a ridiculous amount of snow here, you and I are going to take boxes or rubbermaid tubs or whatever we can get our hands on and head for the hills. I am dying to go sledding!

snow turns a place into a dreamy wonderful land. everything so white and pristine. that is until it becomes muddy.

I don't like much about snow after living in Wisconsin all of my life - but I have a feeling a trip to Poland might make me appreciate the white fluffy stuff!
