14 Days of Valentines | Day 10: Corsets

This is by far one of my favorite days of the 14 Days of Valentines! Nothing quite feels more like lingerie than a corset ensemble and for Day 10: Corsets we are jam packed with some beautiful pieces of structured luxury.

I always loved the period films set in the Victorian times that had women inside with their dressing maids tightening up the laces on the corset. There is something so womanly about the curve that is defined from a corset. Of course the old practical ones broke ribs, but these are for sheer adornment! I'm afraid Agent Provocateur takes the cake on Day 10: Corsets. I mean they are not my favorite couture lingerie line for no reason right?!

Mama mia!! You will hear the Pretty Woman song serenaded to you in these stockings! I must say, Day 7 is all about the art of hosiery and on these 14 Days of Valentines, what lady wouldn't want her legs properly adorned?

I personally subscribe to the golden rule of hosiery: If there's a line there's no problem. I just cannot get enough back seam stockings to satisfy me. I don't think anything is sexier than that pin up girl seam line. I just adore these lacy concoctions though. And add a fancy garter belt to hold them up and girl you'll never want to take these stockings off...maybe.

14 Days of Valentines | Day 4: Babydolls

I was particularly fond of creating a board for Day 4: Babydolls! Babydolls are one of my favorite pieces of lingerie. They are comfortable little dresses and they are sexy...always. Through 14 Days of Valentines I hope you discover more lingerie brands to explore beyond the worlds of Victoria's Secret and La Perla! I know I really enjoyed my research, all the lace and satin, it made me want to go shopping and update my lingerie collection tout suite!

Marjolaine makes some really great options, and Gilda & Pearl are a classic French lingerie dream.

I've wanted to have a really great teddy to bring with me on my honeymoon. There is such a classic French lingerie feel to teddies. Some of these teddies are cute, and some are femme fatale but they are all gorgeous and perfect for your 14 Days of Valentines!

14 Days of Valentines | Day 1: Silk Robes

My darlings I know far too many women that absolutely hate Valentine's Day. But not me, any day to go overboard on red, pink, hearts, chocolate, and love...I LOVE! Even though I've never actually had a Valentine ON Valentine's Day, I still love it all the same. That just meant my girlfriends were my Valentine. Last year, New York City was my Valentine. This year, and I'm sure the next ten to follow, Fashion Week will be my Valentine! As I gear up for the tents at Lincoln Center, I thought I would help you get ready for your Valentine with 14 Days of Valentines! Each day will be a new theme, Day One: Silk Robes!

I just love lacy, sexy, silk robes. No matter what your pajamas are, or nothing at all, an elegant robe like these scream royalty. And what girl doesn't love feeling royal? I feel like people don't wear robes anymore unless they are flannel or terry cloth, but that makes me feel old. Plus, in silk robes you can saunter around like Ginger Rogers or Ingrid Bergman. Yes please.
