Spend anytime away from home and you will begin to make a mental list of things you miss from it. Some come quickly, like a glass of sweet tea filled with ice, others aren't so obvious until later, such as simple things like notebooks that are lined for writing...not grid paper. But it is unavoidable to miss things that you used to rely on. So for you amusment and general knowledge, in no particular order, here is what I have missed from the good ol' US of A this past year.
What have you missed while living somewhere else?

This is so hilarious, because I made a list right before I came home from France. It was almost the EXACT same...so hilarious. But you forgot Netflix!
So true, darling!
Love your list!

hey! you could have bought the same notebook as me with the lined paper!! but then again, i only bought it because such notebooks are so rare in france lol.
I miss a lot of the same things on your list, and some of your things I'm unfamiliar with being from Canada and all. But as I told you this weekend, I'd love to come visit the southern US, so maybe one day I'll swing by :)
P.S. On my list, I'd add: Tim Hortons, 24h grocery stores and drug stores, chocolate milk, DQ, and giant parking lots with free parking everywhere :)
I love your list and when you are home . . . I will try to fulfill all the things on your list that I can supply, like the pancake, sweet tea, and lots of hugs (i'll add the kisses). We can go out to eat to get the BBQ and Mexican food with beer.
We can take care of the shopping and have some girls days! Can't wait to have you home.
such a great list! i'd add good weather to the list
