The person that is worth all the waiting you're logging, is going to fight for you, because nothing will be worth the possibility of losing you in their life. Someone who reciprocates that need you have for them. So whatever your routine is for a reboot, be it friends, prayer, family, exercise, a sappy movie and a good cry, or maybe a combination of all of the above, it is time for you to recognize your worth. Grab hold of the amazing person you are and brush your shoulders off, keep that person alive and well and eventually, and when you least expect it, someone will come along that sees more in you than you ever thought probable.

I'm really loving your posts lately, Jessica. This one is so perfect - especially around this particular time of year. And that picture/quote at the top sums it up perfectly.
My reboot routine is quite similar to yours actually - I just keep being the best me. If you're not at your best, it seems that you will never meet "The One." You must always be hopeful - that is when the most magical things happen!! :)
I like this post a lot. I agree that this time of year a lot of us tend to get listless and feel this way. I always hated all of the cliches people offered me like "you have to love yourself first" and "it will happen when you least expect it", but I think they become cliche because there's a truth to them.
I really believe you need to be happy on your own to be happy with someone else. If you're depending on someone else for your happiness, you're not really happy.
ohh, i am FEELING you! i seriously have been in such a bad mood re: romance. lol. i need a reboot asap! i like taking a day for myself.
What a beautiful post with a positive message...I absolutely feel you. I'm a hopeless romantic as well and it's hard sometimes. But believing in fairy tales just makes life more magical and I wouldn't give that up for anything...
Hope you having a great week, cheers: Evi
